Raw Image Challenge for 2024
This year we will continue with our Raw Image Challenges. Each month you can download a raw file from the website. Your task is to edit this image using your favourite editing program and then upload your edited image into the competition for that month.
This needs to be completed by the end of the month. Images then will be available for all members to view and judge with first, second and third places awarded each month.
FAQ Where do I find the raw file to download. If you go to this months competition in the members area “February Raw Image Challenge” there you will find a “blue download button” Selecting this button will download the file to your hard drive.

Call for Expressions of Interest for Basic Camera Use Coaching
Some members have enquired whether our club could offer some coaching on basic camera use and basic editing of images. We see the best way to offer this is to first of all go through basic camera use and to assist members to capture some images. At a following session participants will have the opportunity of coaching on basic editing of their images and preparing their images for EDI or print competition entry.
The first session will be offered on Thursday 22/2 between 10.00am and 2.00pm at Valentine Bowling Club. If you would like to attend this session please contact Greg Carruthers to register your interest . Please note that these sessions will be aimed mainly at beginners. If you have a camera and you are not sure of how to use it in different situations, these sessions are for you. Greg’s email address is gkcarruthers@gmail.com or on mobile phone at 0410 629 620.
